About Us

John J. Morgan and David R. White founded MorganWhite Group in 1987. The business started out primarily focusing on the worksite marketing of supplemental insurance products. This first company of the group, MorganWhite, Ltd. was divided into two companies in 2005. MWG Benefits is the sales agency of the MorganWhite Group of companies. With over 100 years of combined experience, MWG Benefits can equip employers of all types and sizes with the necessary tools for an effective and efficient employee benefit program.

Leading our team is Joel Jasper who began his career with MorganWhite Group in 1993 as a producing agent. In 1999, he became the manager of the direct sales division of MorganWhite, Ltd., which is now MWG Benefits. Joel also serves as the Privacy and Compliance Officer for all of the Morgan-White Group of companies and AmFirst Insurance Company.

The agents and sales consultants in our Jackson office include, Bobbie Sue Stone, Steve Armstrong, Dan Armstrong, Jimmy Thomas, Reagan Peets and Tom Tharp. In our Oxford office, Brad Camp and Mike Roberts serve North Mississippi. Jason and Reagan Peets service our third and newest office in Greenville, MS. Tricia Thornhill handles our individual sales, and Ryan Eaton has started our senior healthcare division. We service the state of Mississippi as well as surrounding states, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, and Texas.
